ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.—A new book offering Biblical answers to help counsel the loved ones of addicts is now available for order at rbpstore.org.

Addiction: A Family Affair is designed to encourage loved ones to tell their side of the story and, in return, to receive solid Biblical counsel for how to cope and respond to the abuser. Even if the abuser will not seek counseling, this material will help loved ones respond Biblically to the abuser and know what options they have. Includes a counselor’s guide and resource CD.

Pamela Russell is director of Almond Tree, a substance-abuse training ministry for individual  believers and churches. Pam has two decades of experience in counseling and correctional settings; she is an Indiana Law Enforcement chaplain, has earned certification by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, and serves as national director of Women’s Ministry for the Capitol Commission. She has three children and nine grandchildren. She is also the author of More than Sobriety: Resources for Biblical Substance Abuse Counseling.
