VERO BEACH, Fla.—Faith Baptist Church is learning how to maximize its teaching of Christian education. Alan Wilson, regional manager for Regular Baptist Press, led a workshop on lesson planning for a full house of 26 participants.
“The spirit was really good,” he says. “There was a mix of users of our curriculum and non-users. I like that because the users were enthusiastic, and the new people get to watch that. It does a lot more than what I could ever do.”
Preparing lessons to teach takes discipline, Wilson says. He showed the group how to maximize a lesson’s potential using Regular Baptist Press curriculum. “As teachers, we sometimes fall into bad habits, and I tried to show them how to break those habits.”
