AURORA, Ind.—Dearborn Baptist Church learned how to better teach students the Word of God, thanks to a Regular Baptist Press teacher-training workshop. Alan Wilson, regional manager of RBP, led the 86 teachers, pastors, and associate pastors, who had come from seven churches. This training event was one of the largest RBP has ever hosted.
Dearborn Baptist Church uses RBP materials and requested Wilson to come work with its teachers Feb 6.
“The sessions were spot-on,” says Pastor Darrell Sparks. “I have already heard many compliments about how helpful and encouraging the day was to lay teachers. Our faithful teachers get little notice generally, but yesterday had to give them a boost.”
