New Testament Exposition Commentary Series Now on Logos

Regular Baptist Books and Logos Bible Software introduce the Logos Research Edition of Matthew, first in the New Testament Exposition Commentary™ series. The NTEC is one of a handful of commentaries written exclusively for the local church. A Biblically conservative and clearly written series, it provides theological insights needed by those serving in local churches.

Enhanced for Logos - Logos Edition $23.99Logos Research Editions are robust digital reference works coded by hand to work perfectly with the tools in Logos Bible Software. With this edition, Logos users can fully access this treasure trove at any time, from anywhere using the Logos features they’ve come to know and love.

Unique among New Testament commentaries, the NTEC provides commentary from a Baptist perspective. Conservative professors from colleges, universities, and seminaries and trustworthy, seasoned pastors are writing the series. The NTEC is written from a grammatical, historical, and literal hermeneutic. Local Baptist churches will appreciate this conservative perspective from men they can trust.

Dr. Dan Davey (left) and Dr. Chris Miller (center), co-editors of NTEC, receive copies of Dr. Miller’s commentary on the Gospel of Matthew from Dr. David Strope, interim national representative of Regular Baptist Ministries.

Dr. Chris Miller, commentator on the Gospel of Matthew, is senior professor of Biblical studies at Cedarville (Ohio) University. Dr. Miller has been teaching Bible at the college level for over 40 years, and has been a part of Cedarville since 1991. He earned his academic degrees from Tennessee Temple (BA), Grace Theological Seminary (ThM), and Dallas Theological Seminary (PhD). Serving alongside Dr. Daniel Davey, president and professor of Bible exploration at Virginia Beach Theological Seminary, Miller is also co-editor of the NTEC.

NTEC commentaries are highly readable, accessible yet deep, presenting Biblical insight with lucid brevity. In each chapter, readers will find a concise introduction that functions as a road map, laying out the chapter’s significance, content, and place in the broader context; a verse-by-verse exposition (ESV); and a reflection from the commentator that focuses on meaningful applications to ponder. They will draw valuable and theological insight for their ministry from one of the few commentaries written exclusively for the local church.

Logos Bible Software provides a theological library of curated resources so believers can better understand the Bible.
