Author Daniel Anderson & His Wife Receive 2018 Faithful Servants Award

FBBC’s 2018 Faithful Servant Award Recipients

ANKENY, Iowa—Faith Baptist Bible College awarded its 2018 Faithful Servants Award to Dr. Daniel Anderson (’72) and his wife, Rosalie (Welker). The Andersons have faithfully served college students for 40 years at Appalachian Bible College in Mount Hope, West Virginia.

Dr. Anderson joined the staff of Appalachian Bible College in 1978, where he served as registrar, instructor in Bible and history, dean of students, and assistant to the president before becoming president of the college in 1983. “Dr. Anderson’s impact at Appalachian Bible College is immeasurable,” says FBBC. “During his tenure, the campus has seen significant increases in enrollment, major campus construction and renovation projects, and the development of a long-term strategic plan. As he enters the twilight of his faithful career serving college students at ABC, he wants to finish strong.”

He told FBBC that it is a joy to prepare “Biblical slaves” to advance the gospel and build the church around the world. Wanting to encourage as many Christian leaders as possible to be Biblical slaves, Dr. Anderson wrote Biblical Slave Leadership: A Stewardship from Above to Lead from Below, available from Regular Baptist Press in both hardcover and soft cover.
