ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.—With several states and local school districts opting to close public and private schools for the coming weeks during the COVID-19 virus, RBP’s Kids4Truth Clubs is providing free resources to help families while they’re at home. “As Christians, we care about the COVID-19 virus. As disciplers, we also care about continuing to disciple those in our care,” says Jon Norris, RBP marketing manager.
According to a recent email from Regular Baptist Press, Kids4Truth Clubs provides three free resources that can be used for at-home discipleship:
1. 10 free lessons and workbooks
In churches that don’t have Kids4Truth Clubs, parents can download an entire unit for free. This is a great way to teach their kids 10 key truths about God’s Word, the Bible.
In churches that do have Kids4Truth Clubs, families can focus on the doctrinal unit their kids are currently studying. Additional resources for each unit are available on EquipU.
2. Free daily devotions for the family
RBP says it wants to “help families grow spiritually each day of the week,” so it provides Kids4Truth Clubs devotions that discuss the attributes of God. “The daily devotions complement the Kids4Truth Clubs curriculum but can be used for standalone discipleship.” RBP says families can stream these daily podcasts at home through their smart speaker, computer, or iOS or Android device.
3. Free weekly podcasts, Truth in Real Life Moments
These weekly podcasts tell the stories of genuine historical figures who stood for and defended truth. RBP says, “These people are powerful reminders for kids to stand for truth when they’re tested. Just as God helped others, He can help today’s kids stand for truth too.” Truth in Real Life can be streamed at home through a family’s smart speaker, computer, or iOS or Android device.
